Hi there!

It’s been a weird and winding road that brought me to creating and selling these funky, one-of-a-kind fused glass pieces. It began when I took a leap 25 years ago to enter the self-employment world. I opened a paint-your-own-pottery studio, then another, then a restaurant, then back to school for a grad degree, and finally landed in public service. The pension sounded like a good idea, if I ever wanted to retire.

A chance opportunity to purchase a glass studio fulfilled a dream that had been brewing after I had invited a glass artist into my ceramics studio to teach a few classes. I had always wanted to learn more about firing glass, but life got busy. My husband and I ran our businesses while raising our two (marginally) great kids. The business really is a family affair as my son manages my webpage and social media, my daughter helps with preparing for markets, and my husband takes on any ridiculous task that’s needed, like… yesterday. I don’t know why they do it (the pay is terrible) but without them, none of this would be possible.
